Dr Holly Ludeman

Managing Director, The Livestock Collective

Holly is an agricultural scientist and veterinarian with extensive experience across the livestock export industry, including roles as an Australian Accredited Veterinarian preparing consignments and sailing with livestock shipments to the Middle East. For the past seven years, she has served as the Corporate Governance and Compliance Officer at Emanuel Exports, where she leads animal welfare, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

In 2019, Holly founded The Livestock Collective, a not-for-profit organisation focused on rebuilding public trust through real, on-the-ground stories from people working in the livestock export sector. The Livestock Collective has played a key role in countering misinformation and empowering individuals across the supply chain to share their experiences, particularly during times of heightened public scrutiny.

More recently, Holly has stepped into political advocacy as a committee member of the grassroots Keep the Sheep campaign. In response to the Albanese Government’s decision to phase out live sheep exports, the campaign mobilised over 100,000 petition signatures, raised $1 million, and reignited national debate around evidence-based policy and agricultural advocacy.

Holly is driven by a deep commitment to rural Australia and ensuring agriculture has a strong, united voice in shaping its future.
