Fundraising auction
Australian livestock exporters have a proud history of digging deep to support worthy causes through the LIVEXchange gala dinner and auction. The beneficiaries are nominated by the hosting state chapter, this year the Western Australian Livestock Exporters’ Association (WALEA).
We are excited to welcome Nutrien Ag Solution’s Austin Gerhardy as the auctioneer at the gala dinner fundraiser.
If you would like to donate an item or experience to be auctioned off to support this year’s beneficiaries, please contact Paula Leniston (pleniston@livecorp.com.au).
The Livestock Collective
As a not-for-profit organisation, The Livestock Collective is dedicated to sharing authentic stories from the entire livestock export supply chain and broader agricultural industry. This helps to ensure that the voices of farmers, livestock agents, transporters, exporters, stock handlers, and many more are heard, allowing people outside the industry to access real, factual information and make informed decisions about livestock exports.
Through digital storytelling, community engagement, and industry partnerships, TLC has worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between rural industries and the wider public, fostering trust and understanding in one of Australia’s most essential yet often misunderstood industries.
Key focus areas:
- Expanding community awareness through social media, media engagement & industry collaboration.
- Building industry capacity by empowering supply chain participants with education and leadership opportunities.
- Strengthening industry visibility to ensure the next generation understands the critical role of livestock exports.
The funds raised will directly support TLC’s mission to educate, engage, and advocate for the livestock export industry and the future of Australian agriculture through transparency and collaboration.

Regional Men’s Health Initiative
The Regional Men’s Health Initiative aim to empower men and communities to take responsibility for their holistic wellbeing and health through education.
This is done through empowering and supporting community members and local groups to conduct health promotion and education activities (a ‘bottoms up’ approach).
They do not organise events, but are demand driven. This method allows them to participate in more events and builds the capacity of grassroots organisations to incorporate holistic wellbeing messages into their existing events.
Funds raised will go towards:
- Sponsorship of the Talk to a Mate® message, the basis of all their initiatives. Currently this message is promoted into Bowls WA (Regional Bowling Leagues) and Country Football WA (CFWA).
- Support of the Warrior Ambassador Awards program which acknowledges community champions who have supported the organisation.
- Producing educational resources – predominantly the self-help book Working with Warriors, videos and various promotional items covering a wide range of wellbeing and health topics.
